Roots and Reins Festival
Cocke County Long Term Recovery Group is inviting you to our upcoming community event on September
27th, 2025. On that day, we are hosting the Roots and Reins Festival at the Cocke County Fairgrounds. This
is a special, free-to-all event honoring the incredible resilience and unity of Cocke County one year after
Hurricane Helene. This devastating storm left a lasting impact on all of us. It impacted our homes, our
neighbors, and our infrastructure, but it also revealed the strength and perseverance that define us. We are so
grateful to be able to bring this event together for everyone. This event is GOLD sponsored by Clinch-Powell,
Tennova Healthcare-Newport Medical Center and Daniel Conard Realty.
At Roots and Reins Festival there will be opportunities for all of our residents and community partners to
experience the best of Cocke County, connect with their neighbors, explore opportunities and available
information, see the progress that’s been made, recognize the first responders who were boots on the ground,
and enjoy local food and fun with their families at the various activities.
Come on down to the Cocke County Fairgrounds, and beginning at 4pm, enjoy:
